Des Walsh is a Newfoundland poet, writer, musician and actor. In 2013, he was cast in the award-winning feature film Cast No Shadow, directed by Christian Sparks and written by Joel Thomas Hynes. He has starred in numerous award-winning short films including Hynes’ Clipper Gold. His screenwriting credits include the feature film Love and Savagery in 2009 and the international hit miniseries’ Random Passage. He was lead writer on the miniseries The Boys of St. Vincent, which won a Gemini and the Gold Medal at the Banff Television Festival in Canada, the Umbria Fiction Award in Italy, the Grand FIPA d’Or Cannes in France, and The New York Festivals Award and the 1995 Peabody Award in the United States.

Jennifer Smith - Evelyn

Jennifer Smith is a film actress living and working in her home province of Newfoundland. Recent projects include: Long Term Care (Match Cut Productions, 2015), Perfection (Skyways Productions, 2015), Hymnal (Breathless Films Inc., 2014), Infanticide (The Hunting Party Inc, 2013). Jennifer is grateful for the opportunity to embody the vibrant Evelyn and for the short-sweet time to explore the fleeting, resonate moments that are this film.

paul wilson - interviewer

Paul Wilson trained at the well-respected Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. In Canada, Paul worked with director Chris McHarge on the musical tribute show 1967 - Memories of the Summer of Love, performing the show right across Ontario, Quebec, and even Germany. Since moving to Newfoundland, he has appeared in numerous musicals, and Shakespearean productions – including the role of Macbeth at the Perchance Theatre in 2015. His film credits include a nomination for Best Actor in Tamara Segura's Before The War at the 2015 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. The film premiered at the closing night gala at the 2014 St. John's International Women's Film Festival.
